Take a Risk in getting to know Brookside

Brookside is a place where Black & white, rich & poor, and young & old are being formed by Christ into a family – out of brokenness and into unity and new life. Join us this Sunday or throughout the week and experience the goodness of God for yourself.

At Brookside Community Church, we invite you to…

Come and Belong

What does it look like to belong at Brookside? It’s called discipleship. Discipleship happens when we worship together, grow in Christ together, and serve together.

How do I belong?

Come and Share

Brookside is all about being in relationship with others who are different from ourselves. Together, we are being formed by Christ into a family out of brokenness and into unity and new life.

Sunday Worship

Every Sunday, 10am

Here's how to get started when visiting on a Sunday:

  • Join us for breakfast at 9am and service at 10am.
  • Register your kids (birth through 5th grade) for children's ministry before service (see below for more details).
  • After service, visit our welcome center at the back of the sanctuary where you can speak with one of our pastors/staff members. You can also learn more about our areas of ministry throughout the week, our youth group, and our food co-op.

Bringing kids?

The goal of children’s ministry at Brookside is to raise children who treasure Christ and love all people. As one family, we strive to provide the best environment and training for our children to grow in Christand develop positive relationship. Our classrooms are separated by age and grade; Nursery (0-2 year olds), Preschool (3 & 4 year olds), K-2nd,and 3rd-5th.

Our desire is that children don’t see the Biblical stories as disconnected tales with little moral lessons, but individual parts ofScripture in light of the larger narrative of God’s plan of redemption throughChrist. The Bible says, “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in afield, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matthew 13:44). Our hope is that the children of Brookside grow to learn, understand, and treasure Christ for the rest of their lives.

Check in begins at 9:40 AM, Nursery and Toddler drop off begins at 9:45am, K-5th grade dismissed during service and Parent/Guardian pick-up is after service.
