Over the past year we have seen God open incredible doors to be the church in the Brookside neighborhood. With high addiction rates, 60% of children in poverty, high food insecurities, and deep-rooted generational poverty, we continue to ask God to allow us to be a transforming agent in this community.

In 2016, we expanded our reentry hub, launched our youth development program, and were given an 8-unit apartment complex to start our housing initiative. Here is glimpse at some of the impact our ministry is having:

We praise God for what He has done in and through us this year. Our mission as a church is to be a family formed by Christ out of brokenness and into unity and new life. Every aspect of our ministry seeks to build a culture of development/discipleship and safety where lives are changed through community and relationship.

All of this would not be possible without the 300+ volunteers who dedicate time to our mission. Each relationship formed is part of God's greater plan to see His Kingdom expanded here on earth. This past year we saw how God can use a group believers from diverse backgrounds to minister to the brokenness of a neighborhood...

...but God is not finished with what He has started here at Brookside Community.

In 2017, we will create an even greater footprint in the Brookside neighborhood. This where we need your help! I ask you to prayerfully consider making an end of the year gift, or begin a monthly contribution to our ministry. DONATE NOW! As a new organization that is not yet fully funded for 2017, these contributions will allow us to continue the vision that God has given us to fulfill.
